Facebook And Schweppes Making Profiles Cool

So I was reading an article on Mashable about Facebook pushing its new profile to all users. One different functionality of the new Facebook profile pages is, obviously, the photos. They are much more prominent on our pages and it allows us to showcase our lives a little more easily.

One of the coolest features with the new photos is that it gives you the opportunity to hack your profile just a little bit more! And, according to Mashable, you can add a little flair to your profile picture with the help of the Schweppes Profile App. If you’re interested in getting a first-hand look at what this app ultimately allows you to do, take a look at my Facebook page or take a look at the image I’ve provided below.

Facebook Profile, App, Schweppes

It’s a little funky but whatever – I put that together in five simple minutes so perfection wasn’t going to be achieved! Overall, I think it’s pretty cool but I won’t keep this up for too long. What do you guys think? If you all get the inspiration to try this out, let me know how yours look!

  1. Darn it, I had had one up, but it’s already been lost with a bunch of pics from NYE… I didn’t even think to screen shot it!

But yeah it is fun for a bit, as long as people go look at your profile and not just your newsfeed :P

  2. Very cool Ryan!.. slightly creepy but cool :)

  3. Agreed! I’m sure a lot of people were wondering the same thing when they saw my profile pic in their news feed. Hopefully enough people checked it out to make it worthwhile. Either way, it’s a cool idea!

  4. Ha, thanks Jessica! I agree it is probably a little more than just slightly creepy but it’ll do until I finally decide to change it.

  5. Hi everyone,
Just to say that, if someone else has tagged pictures from you, and your cool “design” is gone on your page, you can can just “remove” the new pictures by clicking the X to get back to your first design. And, you can always re-use the app as many times you want to create a new profile look… Glad you all like like it ;-) Best regards from Schweppes Europe!
