Jerry Seinfeld Goes Gaga on Gaga

Gaga vs. Seinfeld, courtesty RollingStone.com

I know this story is from yesterday but I still think it is hilarious to hear what Jerry Seinfeld had to say about Lady Gaga‘s… ahem… behavior at a New York Mets game.  Well, after she gave the Mets crowd the finger, it appears the Mets’ front office decided to move her… to a vacant luxury box owned by none other than Jerry Seinfeld.

Well, this move did not make the comedian/actor/icon too happy at all.  He was on WFAN in New York City and, damn, did he tear into her or what?

Here is what Seinfeld had to say about Gaga:

“This woman is a jerk. I hate her. I can’t believe they put her in my box, which I paid for. You give people the finger and you get upgraded? Is that the world we’re living in now? It’s pathetic. I don’t know what these young people think or how they promote their careers. If you take one ‘A’ off of that and you’ve got gag.”

In true Seinfeld fashion, he points out the obvious and questions why people would do what they do. I love Gaga but I think it is hilarious that the Mets’ would basically reward her for bad behavior by putting her in Seinfeld’s luxury box.  I need to find my way to Citi Field and start some trouble! Maybe I can get an upgrade too.

Although Seinfeld did trash on Gaga, he did come back around to praise her work (via RollingStone.com): “She is talented. I don’t know why she’s doing this stuff.”

Because, Jerry – that’s just Gaga.
