Late Night Recap: Eminem, ShamWow, Michael Jackson
Welcome back to the late night recap. If you actually read this tonight, I will be impressed because it is late! I was hoping to have this posted earlier, but I have been busy being announced as a candidate for the MTV TJ position! Anyways, more on that later.
First, we have some business to attend to. As I’m sure a lot of you know, Eminem’s new album, Recovery, leaked two weeks before his album was scheduled to drop. This caused Shady to get a little creative with his album promotion. It turns out, there’s still some creative spark in the guy. Do you remember Vince Shlomi? What about if I call him the ShamWow guy? Yeah, Em turned to that guy for a little Recovery promotion. “You’re gonna be clappin’ when you hear Eminem rappin’” HAHA:
Come to think of it, shouldn’t that ShamWow guy be in jail for beating up a prostitute? Anyhow, it’s a pretty funny video. It seems there still are some benefits to actually buying a CD over getting the digital copy. We’ll see how many people agree with this when the album drops, eh?
Moving on, would you be interested if I told you that you could have the opportunity to dance like Michael Jackson. Well, there’s a little bit of a catch. You can dance like Michael, but you will be doing it through a video game. HA – got you! Ubisoft has announced that they are developing a Michael Jackson video game. From the sound of it, it’s going to be a lot like Dance Dance Revolution except you’ll be MJ. To be honest, it sounds weak as hell. But, then again, I think all these type of reality games suck. I’m sorry but I was never a fan of Guitar Hero or Rock Band. I have much better things to do with my day – like nothing. But nothing would be better than playing those games.
