Nike: “Write the Future” World Cup Commercial

Nike just keeps coming out with better and better advertisements. You may have seen this new one while watching Inter Milan vs. Bayern Munich EUFA game this past Saturday. Nike has unveiled their new slogan, “Write the Future,” in an obvious attempt to not only build anticipation for the World Cup, but to also inspire a younger crop of athletes to follow their soccer dreams.

The video features such soccer stars as Cristian Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney and Didier Drogba as they show what their future holds depending on how they perform. There are also guest cameos from Homer Simpson and Kobe Bryant, which adds to the genius of the commercial. Watch the newest Nike advertisement above or visit Nike’s official soccer page.

  5. Someone please stop the horns! I tried to give the World Cup a chance, but I’d even turn off the Superbowl if there was the same annoying background noise.
