Sandra Bullock to Receive MTV Award

Sandra Bullock will be making a public appearance, and it’s happening at the MTV Movie Awards.

The 45-year-old actress will be at the June 6 awards ceremony to receive the MTV Generation Award – the network’s highest honor.

According to MTV: “Every year, the Movie Awards honors one iconic actor with the MTV Generation Award to recognize a remarkable career. On June 6th, Sandra Bullock will be the first female to receive it, joining esteemed past winners such as Ben Stiller, Jim Carrey, Tom Cruise and Adam Sandler.”

After the past few months dealing with her Jesse James drama, there is no star that deserves adoration more. I’m happy to hear MTV is doing this to provide some positive light in Bullock’s up-and-down year.

If you are interested in reading the transcripts of Jesse James’ interview with ‘Nightline’ from a few weeks ago, you can read it here. To be honest, I just didn’t want to spoil my site with his face! I hope you can all understand.

Anyhow, what do you think about Sandra’s new award? Are you excited to see her? Let me know your thoughts people! Drop your comments or tweet me: @rlytle.
